The Hub City and Headed Down 101

We took our time leaving Seattle and took the short drive to Centralia - with a stop in Olympia to get a huge chunk of Salmon.
Centralia was a nice relaxing night, we hung out at the store and took some time cleaning out the car and doing laundry. It was nice to catch up with Emma's Nana, Aunt Becca, and cousin Joel. We made a few plans for the coming months - community garden, spa barn...

Phil got to do some training on an exercise bike older than him. And we stuck the heir loom in the car. After a fabulous dinner we crashed for a good night's sleep in preparation for what will turn out to be our longest drive yet...

We stopped in Trinidad, CA for a quick stop to see my (Phil's) dear old friend Chad who’s been kicking it in the west coast for a while now getting a feel for the vibe. We caught up quickly bringing back the old times with a bang. Freaking awesome to see you man and look forward to more chats on the future of things.

One person who is very special to us stayed up till one in morning to watch us stumble in the door looking like zombies after a hellacious drive on 299. His name is Denis. He karibu-ed us with pizza and beer then tucked us in bed like the great guy he is. We got breakfast with him and his girlfriend Ciara getting into a conversational groove that seemed just like the days hanging out at pool and bar in old TZ! He’s got plans to be a teacher and is well on his way to doing just that. We freaking love you man.
